REMIX THE FOUNDATION

Welcome to Week 1 of our REMIX series: REMIX THE FOUNDATION — because the truth hasn’t changed, but we have. This message is a reminder that God repeats what He refuses to let us forget (Deuteronomy 6:6–9, 2 Peter 1:12, Philippians 3:1). Repetition creates impression, and impression creates expression… and for many of us, we don’t need a new word — we need a deeper root. Because what’s repeated gets rooted.

Jesus teaches in Matthew 7 that everyone is building, but the real question is what are you building on? Two builders had vision, effort, and activity — but the difference wasn’t what they built, it was where they built it: sand or rock. Storms don’t create cracks — they reveal them. They expose what we rushed, ignored, or assumed would hold. And when the foundation is wrong, you don’t decorate it — you rebuild it (1 Corinthians 3:10–15, Psalm 127:1). Not everything that looks strong is stable, and not everything that survives a season will survive a lifetime.
